Look out, iron chefs!  A good old-fashioned competition, built around the excitement of entrepreneurship and culinary excellence, Restaurant Row is the tastiest face-off imaginable, akin to the hottest programs on The Food Network.

The event begins with each team, whether pre-formed, or randomly selected by our professional facilitator, racing against the clock with our “Taste Bud Tabletop Tasks.”  Based upon these scores, teams are “ranked,” which determines the order in which they choose their cuisine and restaurant theme.  Our international options include:  Alluring Asian, Succulent Seafood, Vibrant Vegetarian, Mouthwatering Mediterranean, Delightful Desserts, Polynesian Tiki Hut, and of course, All-American Deli.   

Once teams have chosen their cuisines, the restaurateurs get busy cooking, crafting a restaurant name, designing a unique logo, and creating an original marketing presentation, to be presented live, in order to entice hungry “customers” to patronize their establishment.  Speaking of the establishment, did we mention teams construct a façade of their restaurant, using cardboard, duct tape, and a variety of aesthetic provisions to properly bedazzle their brasserie?  The event may also be themed as a "Food Truck Face-Off" where façades of food trucks are built instead of "restaurants."

While teams receive a specific set of ingredients and supplies, as well as menu descriptions of the dishes they’re encouraged to create, step-by-step recipes are absent.  This allows culinary creativity and organic cooperation to flow freely amongst team members.   

Scored on a variety of criteria including the eatery’s façade, the cuisine’s overall taste and presentation, the marketing campaign, and cleanliness, among others, teams attempt to impress the judges beyond their competitors, vying for, and ultimately winning, the gold medals. 

No culinary team building event is complete without eating, and our “progressive dinner” allows your participants the opportunity to sample the delectable delights, hand-crafted by THEM! 

To ensure an outstanding experience, aspects of this event may be modified to maximize the benefits for your group size, makeup, available time, and other variables.
