This isn’t your grandfather’s golf game!  So put away your plaid pants and roll up your sleeves for Pars & Stripes . . . a team building event that is sure to excite everyone from the PGA-pros to those frequently yelling “fore.”

After teams are formed, and the “game frame of mind” is established through a fun ice-breaking activity, the competition begins.  Armed with green indoor/outdoor carpeting, canned food goods, construction paper, and a few tools, team members work together to design and build their own hole of miniature golf.  Whether it's putting a ball through the White House, or bumping around Mount Rushmore, each hole has its own flare, with a unique American theme.  Inspiration, imagination, and ingenuity all permeate the course, as participants work collaboratively, all for a worthy cause.

No golf event is complete without a tournament of play.  While one team member remains at the hole, acting as marshal and scorekeeper, the rest of the participants traverse from hole to hole, attempting to out-birdie the competition.

At the conclusion of the tournament, scores are tallied as participants deconstruct their holes, and box the canned goods.  Following a presentation to the charitable recipient, a “pantry parade” ensues, where participants load the canned goods into the charity’s vehicle, instilling a sense of personal pride and goodwill.

For those wishing to add a bit of “high tech” to the activity, our unique iPad component may be added.  Using BridgeTheApp™, our proprietary app, each team is tasked with completing golf-themed trivia, photo, and video challenges, in order to earn the canned goods needed to properly build a challenging hole.  As with all BridgeTheApp™-powered events, shortly after its conclusion, your inbox will contain a link to a web page where all of the photos and videos, captured by your participants, will be available for viewing and download.
